This page describes how Αντώνιος Βαρέλας (Antonios Varelas), trading as UpDate Advertising, uses email in connection with av-adv.eu. Mail type: transactional, one-to-one, triggered by a form the recipient submitted. We do not operate a purchased or scraped marketing list.
What we send
- A reply to your enquiry (quote, file, call-back). From an address on av-adv.eu such as noreply@av-adv.eu, with Reply-To as needed, or from ant.varelas@gmail.com.
- Optional news only if the extra box on the form was ticked. Stop that mail on /unsubscribe/ (email field, recorded suppression).
How we collect addresses
The contact form asks for the email twice (both fields must match), a consent checkbox that links to the privacy policy, and an optional marketing box that is off by default. Honeypot and a per-IP rate limit reduce automated abuse.
Bounces, complaints, suppression
Hard bounces and provider complaints are treated as a stop: we do not retry that address for marketing, and we do not keep sending to a mailbox that has hard-bounced. Complaints: ant.varelas@gmail.com.
When a dedicated sending pipeline (including Amazon SES) is enabled, bounces and complaints from that pipeline apply the same suppression rule. Until then, mail leaves via the website host.
What we will not do
- Buy, rent or append email lists.
- Send unsolicited bulk mail.
- Use the form as a disguised newsletter signup (marketing is a separate, optional tick).
